The decrease of the biodiversity continuous undiminished

Biodiversity continues to decrease worldwide. But what does ‘biodiversity’ mean? Biodiversity is a term used to describe all living things found on earth and the interactions they have with each other. People underestimate the value of biodiversity. We should consider the biodiversity high valued due to supply of food, healthiness of people, environmental value and at last is has a financial side.'

At first we start with the major threat, the huge rise in human population levels is the fundamental cause. The increasing population has led to an unceasing search for more arable land, livestock grazing and wood for fuel. Habitat destruction, the second cause is directly related to the first one. The next cause, agricultural policy is again in connection with habitat destruction. The dramatic increase human population has instigated a concomitant growth.

Additionally, pollution has an disruptive influence on the population of animals or plants which are dependent on clear water. Another actual topic: global warming, also has a bad influence. Finally, hunting and fishing are some of the underestimated reasons.

Biodiversity loss has negative effects on several aspects of human well-being, such as food security, vulnerability to natural disaster and access to clean water and raw materials. It has also a positive influence on human health and social relations. When humans change an ecosystem to improve a service it provides, has it also influence on other ecosystem services. For instance actions to increase food production can lead to reduced water availability for other uses. In the long term, the value of services lost may greatly exceed the short-term economic benefits that are gained from transforming ecosystems.

There are a couple of solutions to maintain the biodiversity. One of them is to enhance the number of wildlife areas. The best way to conserve the biodiversity, is to integrate it into fishery, agriculture and forestry sectors. Informing all of society about the benefits of conserving biodiversity will help to increase biodiversity.
