Ik moet heel eerlijk bekennen dat ik geen enkel liedje ken, geen enkele band ken, en ook geen flauw idee heb wat voor muziek die lui maken die in je lijstje staan. :)
En een lijstje maken....ik zou niet eens bij de 10 komen.

Volgens mij is Dragnet ook niet van 2004.

Verder aardige lijst. In mijn lijst komen Panopticon en Dead Stop ook voor. Panopticon zelfs op 1.

Rage of Discipline vond ik een teleurstelling na de vette demo. Overgeproduceerd en te slap ingezongen. Dat green eyes nummer is wel erg goed vind ik.

aha, ik ga geheel High Fidelity's gewijs me eens aan het werk zetten.

Heeft er zo vorig jaar niet iemand een puntentelling opgemaakt om zo de favoriete plaat van 2003 te kiezen? (Belle & Sebastian als winnaar dacht ik?)

En laat mij ook eens rustig nadenken over mijn top 10. Er moeten vast wel 10 leuke liedjes zijn gemaakt dit jaar. ;)

haha, ik loop altijd zo achter, geen van de vetste albums die ik dit jaar heb leren kennen is ook daadwerkelijk van dit jaar...

Panopticon bij mij ook op 1. Ik had al zo'n vermoeden wat betreft nothing to nothing, blijkbaar stond de release date toch verkeerd op de site waar ik het nagekeken heb. Die Dragnet lp is idd ook niet van dit jaar. En rage of discipline is dan wel niet zo gaaf als de demo maar ik vind wel dat ie in de lijst moet (y)

Ten eerst dacht ik dat het over liedjes ging omdat platen ook liedjes zijn. Misschien ouderwets, maar so be it. Dus dat mijn fout.
En ten tweede hoe kom jij erbij in godsnaam bij dat ik niet van muziek hou, vriend....?

En om dan maar een beetje ontopic te blijven, helaas geen top 10.

Ja die CD No Not, Not Ever vind ik echt goed...

over smaak valt niet te twisten dus laten we ons daar niet mee bezig houden , maar greatest hits zijn over het algemeen genomen een verzameling hits van artiesten over een hele tijd genomen dus het zijn eigenlijk nauwelijks nieuwe platen of albums, en in dit topic gaat het juist om cd's die in 2004 zijn uitgekomen en dus "nieuw" zijn.

en mijn jaarlijstje komt eraan , heb veeeeel te veel om uit te kiezen maar morgen zet ik hem erop

ben er nog niet helemaal uit qua 2004. Duidelijke kanshebbers:

Interpol, Cult of Luna, Nasum, Pig Destroyer, Colour of Fire, Rise Against, Mastodon, DEP, Lamb of God en Codeseven. Ik vergeet er vast wat, maar zoals ik al zei ben ik er nog niet over uit.

Het ging mij erom om ontopic te blijven, en bij Shania Twain staan er toevallig wel 3 nieuwe nummers op. ;)

daar kwam ik bij omdat je geen enkele band uit mijn top 10 kende, terwijl ik moet zeggen dat dat toch niet de grootste alternatieve bands zijn die er bestaan. bovendien kost het je moeite om een top 10 te maken, terwijl de meeste mensen die dit forum bezoeken juist moeite hebben met het wegstrepen van albums om er 10 over te houden.

maargoed, hoe dan ook, voor de duidelijkheid;

het gaat hier om wat jij de beste 10 albums vind die in 2004 zijn uitgebracht. re-issues en verzamelalbums uiteraard niet meegeteld, dat slaat nergens op want dat is geen nieuw materiaal.
