Pandora's Box..
 

My name is Pandora and I was created a gift,
I carry a box which lid must not be lift.

My beauty has a secret and as I obey,
I am called a woman and they sent me away.

The place where I was brought was very small
And I took with me my box, with treasures and all.

They told me not to open this box but as once I thought,
Who would ever know I opened it? How could I be caught?

As I lifted the lid it became scary and black,
I tried to close it again, but the dark didn’t go back.

Now me and curiosity must pay the price,
As the happiness fainted, and all hearts turned to ice.
