Een film van Neil Gaiman en Dave McKean! Ik ben benieuwd, het ziet er in elk geval erg gaaf uit...

Mirrormask is the story of Helena, a fifteen-year-old girl working for her family circus, who wishes--quite ironically--that she she could run away from the circus and join real life. But such is not to be the case, as she finds herself on a strange journey into the Dark Lands, a fantastic landscape filled with giants, Monkeybirds and dangerous sphinxes. Helena searches for the Mirrormask, an object of enormous power that is her only hope of escaping the Dark Lands, waking the Queen of Light and returning home.

Ik heb hem nu voor de helft gezien en moet zeggen dat het een aardig stijlvol filmpje is!

Ik heb hem gezien. Uitermate standaard verhaallijntje, maar de decors en karakters zijn heel gaaf en origineel vorm gegeven.

...maar dan kan het 'karakters'-gedeelte wat mij betreft óók nog wel geschrapt worden :) 'T hele ding deed me van tevoren al wat aan als een remake van Labyrinth, maar dan zonder David Bowie in te strakke panties.

Annyways, ik moest 'm eigenlijk gewoon zien omdat Neil Gaiman d'r wat mee te maken had :cool: das een topper.
