Misschien is het leuk om een toelichting te geven van je antwoorden in dit topic, met name de open vragen vond ik wel interessant. Mijn antwoorden:

I consider someone a poweruser when he or she not only understands the technology he or she uses, but also can improve it. Thus, not a user but a fellow-creator; an equal to the programmer.
A poweruser is one who sets the standards, not the one who blindlessly follows them.
Some say that youth who have had intensive long term experience using technology tools and systems think, learn and behave in ways that are different from youth who have not had this experience. Do you think this is true?
If yes, in what ways do you think they are different?
Yes, i think Information Technology in general leads to analytical thinking, since computers are built on logic and procedure. Especially programming introduces an almost mathematical way of thinking.
I have read that the US Army selects personel who regularly play videogames because of their enhanced eye/hand coordination. Also, because of mobile phones and SMS technology, some speak of an "SMS thumb" because they use their thumb regularly to send SMS messages.
These are two examples of physical enhancement brought by Information Technology. I think the same can be applied to mental abilities. Especially cognitive functions will be used regularly, especially by power users/programmers. This, on the other hand, may cause other abilities such as emotional intelligence to be deminished.
On the long term, Information Technology may or will also change the way people look at life, or change their acceptance towards society. Computers and mobile phones are generally accepted. In the future, technology-enhanced humans may also be accepted. Technology is first opposed, then debated, then generally accepted. It is my opinion that this cycle will increase in the future.
