how i see myself

i guess this is about me
of how i see myself
it's standing in front of a mirror
and seeing more than a shell

now where do i begin
where do i start
describing a fool
with a complicated heart

i guess i'm just a dreamer
who's also a bit naive
the truth is sometimes hard
but the truth is what i believe

there's something left to say
something i don't admire
my inability to act
upon my feelings of desire

and that's what really gets me
that's what i makes me blue
i guess i know myself now
i hope i can pull through
