Album “Ambuscade” turns out to be Undeclinable’s own ambush.

After four years of working on the new album, Jasper has decided to quit.
The album called “Ambuscade” has already been recorded, but Jasper doesn’t have any motivation left to finish it. Skanne, Dennis, Jorg and Helmer feel really sorry that the process of writing lyrics and recording the vocals has turned out to be too big a task for Jasper. Because of this it is impossible to finish the album in the near future. This is the reason for the band as a whole to quit. For the other 4 there is no use in waiting for “something that might never come”,
Jasper doesn’t like the idea of doing an extensive promotional campaign for the new album (CD release by record label, interviews, touring etc.). This is in sharp contrast to what the rest of the band wants..
Because Undeclinable has always consisted of the same 5 people, we all feel that when one of us doesn’t want to continue with this band, replacement is not an option.

We're really sorry for all the fans and people who wanted to work with us on the new release!! We wanna thank you all for your patience the last years. We most probably won't do any final shows or anything. This is it...

Maybe we'll put some personal notes on the site to the people we wanna thank personally, but for now we just wanna try to move on and forget about this whole thing...



Het verbaast me niet echt dat ze stoppen; t was al vrij lang stil geloof ik. Wel een vreemd moment natuurlijk, op het moment dat het album af is.

Heb er vroeger wel redelijk veel naar geluisterd, toch jammer.

Aaah balen zeg, was wel echt een jeugdsentiment bandje en ik had ze nog wel graag een keer willen zien, vond het een half jaartje geleden in den bosch in ieder geval super leuk weer.

..werd tijd, t was wel een leuk bandje maar ze waren al een tijdje duidelijk op hun retour

Toch jammer want vroeger veel naar geluisterd.

In tegenstelling tot bij andere bandjes die er het afgelopen jaar mee opgehouden zijn (Daryll-Ann, Beulah..) zal ik hier echt niet van wakker liggen. Dat optreden in Den Bosch was nog wel leuk ja, maar ook toen al kon je merken dat er bepaalde dingen niet helemaal goed zaten binnen die band. Die nieuwe nummers vond ik trouwens ook maar matig.

t is idd 1 vd bands waar ik mee ben begonnen,,, niet zo heel lang geleden voor mij :P maarja,, jammer dat ze kappe :(

echt heel jammer.... ik had nog gehoopt op die nieuwe plaat...

One for the money staat hier in de kast. In tegenstelling tot Tom zal ik niet trachten mijn minder underground verantwoordde verleden te verdoezelen. Ik draai m nog steeds zo'n 2 a 3x per jaar. Goede punkrockplaat!

Hallo, ik biecht toch op?
Ik heb hem overigens jaren geleden verkocht, als ik het me goed herinner. Ik hou er niet van.

het eerste bandje wat ik ooit live zag.. ik heb er een cd van maar luister het al jaren niet meer.

je porbeert het te hard pruttelsnol.

laatst nog eens gezien in Tilburg, wel amusant. balen dat ze ermee stoppen maar ik spring niet voor de trein :)

Jammer. Goede, coole band. Sound city Burning is echt leuk. But all things will end, I suppose.

Het zou godverdomme fucking tijd worden zeg.

Is echt lame. Vooral nu die nieuwe plaat er aan kwam.
Undeclinable was echt een vette band en net nu ze weer meer shows deden was het echt heel erg vet. Too bad yes.

Dear fans and friends,

As most of you will know by now, Jasper decided to quit the band...

After a couple of weeks of feeling lousy, the four remaining Undeclinables decided it would just be too much of a pity not to finish the new album. As we told you before we recorded the music for 18 new songs and it was only up to Jasper to finish it off with his vocals. Well, that's not gonna happen...

So, we decided to go find us a new singer and finish the album!! That's going to be our main focus in the coming months; find a singer, finish the album and go touring again!! We choose to work with a new lead singer, because we won't be able to sing (the old) songs while playing our instruments...

Now, if you think your a good singer, you're well motivated, able to get yourself to Den Bosch on a regular basis... send us a (good) recording of your previous singing and we'll start up some kind of audition.
