Vertaling NL-E


Ik wil mij excuses bieden voor het feit dat wij zoveel lawaai hebben gemaakt.
Het zal niet meer voorkomen.
Maar ik kan me nauwelijks niet voorstellen dat jullie er zoveel last van hebben gehad.Want jullie wonen namelijk 2 huizen verderop.
Mij naaste buren hebben helemaal niet geklaagd.
Ik had jullie ook voor het feest uitgenodigd.Maar jammer dat jullie niet konden komen.Jullie hadden gezegt dat jullie de stad uit waren.
Ik zal voortaan er zeker rekening mee houden.Het feest was inderdaad wel wat uit de hand gelopen en bij het afscheid hebben bestuurders van een paar auto´s langdurig getoeterd.Ik was er zelf ook niet zo gelukkig mee.
Ik hoop dat jullie mij excuses willen accepteren/aanvaarden.


Wie kan dit stukje tekst voor me vertalen naar het engels Ik zou diegene erg dankbaar zijn..

It will not happen again. But I can hardly imagine that you were so bothered, because you live two houses away frm us (is dat een uitdrukking in het Engels?).
My neighbours didn't complain at all.
You were invited to the party as well, it's ashame you couldn't make it. You said you were going to be out of town.
I will take it (the noise) into account next time, the party had gotten a bit out of hand, and during the good-bye some drivers honked for a long time. I wasn't too happy about that either.
I hope you will accept my apologies.

Zoiets? Tijden zijn niet mn sterkste punt, maar dit komt in de buurt. Maar doe volgende keer zelf je huiswerk, dan ben ik niet zo welwillend meer :o

*dit is op zich correct, maar "I would like" in plaats van "I want" is beter, en is in het Engels ook gebruikelijker*

*gotten is een verouderd voltooid deelwoord van get, dat alleen in het Amerikaans Engels wordt gebruikt, maar niet (meer) in het Brits Engels*

@iwan: Om een goede vertaling van het Nederlands naar het Engels te krijgen doe je het volgende: zoek in je woordenboek Nederlands-Engels de vertaling op van de uitdrukkingen die je wilt gebruiken. Je hebt dan meteen de juiste vertaling bij de hand. Ook is het raadzaam om daarnaast een overzicht van de Engelse grammatica bij de hand te hebben om zo de juiste zinsconstructies te kunnen toepassen.
