he earns 65 a month for this job. his grandfather gives him 10 every month.
during his summer holiday he earned 840 of whinh he spent 50 percent. the other 50 percent he put into his savings-account.

a) how much can he spend every week on average, including the money he saved of his holiday job?

he saves 40 percent of his average weekly income because he wants to buy a cd player.
the price of a cd-player is 255
b) after how many weeks can he buy the cd player??

a:
65 per maand plus 10 per maand, beide doe je maal 12 (0mdat je naderhand naar weken moet) hij verdient 840 in de vakantie, 50 % spaart hij, is 420. 420+(65x12)+(10x12)=1320 1320:52= 25,38 afgerond 25,40 te besteden per week.

b:
40% van 25,38 (het niet afgeronde bedrag) = 10,15 255: 10,15 is 25,12 weken, dus 26 weken sparen.

Geloof ik, al sik in het engels moest antwoorden, sorry maar dat kan ik niet.
