Roadburn 2007 (Neurosis + more)

NEUROSIS has been confirmed as the headliner of the 12th Roadburn Festival. The band will be playing on Saturday, April 21st, 2007. Neurosis will be doing a one-off European show at the Roadburn Festival...and we're very honored to welcome the band. Finland's very own Circle will be playing on Saturday, April 21st too, sharing the mainstage with Neurosis -the same goes for The Hidden Hand. Circle will be doing a one-off show that weekend. Pharaoh Overlord will appear on Friday, April 20th. Blue Cheer will be one of the headliners on the friday -doing a one-off show in Europe that weekend, and putting emphasis on their legendary albums, "Vincebus Eruptum" & "Inside Outside." Hollands own Orange Sunshine will open up for The Cheer and provide the band with a vintage backline... Sun Dial,UK's much lauded heavy psych outfit, are set to play Roadburn's Green Room on Friday. The band is currently working on the "Acid Yantra" re-issue and will be recording a new album as well. It has been quite a while since Sun Dial did a show on the European mainland, so we're very psyched to announce the band. Denmark's Causa Sui are set to play Friday April 20th. Sweden's heavy 70's afficinado's Siena Root are scheduled to appear at Roadburn's intimate rockclub. Talk about Saturday, April 21st: Colour Haze will be doing a psychedelic after party, while Orthodox, Rotor & Stinking Lizaveta will play the regular festival. It's not sure yet whether Volt will play on Friday or Saturday. More bands to be announced in the next few weeks, please keep checking Roadburn for updates... |

Friday, April 20th & Saturday, April 21st, 2007 PRE SALES WILL START NOV.11TH. Day tickets will be 27.50 € + 3.35 € for handling | Weekend tickets will be 52.50 € + 4.20 € for handling. There's gonna be a possibility to purchase tickets through the Roadburn website via Ticketmaster.nl and bank-transfer [for those who don't have a creditcard]. Ordering-info will follow a few days prior to November 11th. ROADBURN-CAMPSITE Did you ever get awake by the roaring of lions? Probably not, but we're offering our festival-attendees the possibilty at Safari campsite Beekse Bergen. It's located approx. 5 km from the venue, and we can accomodate 300 tents [PUPTENTS ONLY], and a grand total of 600 attendees. The campsite has showers, toilets, and there's a huge parkinglot. Safari campsite Beekse Bergen [located at the N269 between Hilvarenbeek en Tilburg]. Beekse Bergen 31 5081 Hilvarenbeek There will be special festival-busses taking you back and forth between the venue and the campsite on Friday, April 20th and Saturday, April 21st, from 14.00hrs 'til 04.00hrs. Please note: on Sunday, there's public transport from the campsite [i.e. regular busses] to the center of Tilburg. Two day accomodation [including the special festival-busses] will be 25 € p.p. Campsite-tickets can be purchased via Roadburn only, and pre sales also start on Saturday, November 11th. |
