Kan er iemand me helpen?
ik moet een tekst over een zomervakantie uitvinden en dit is voor engels.het is echt dringend,ik moet het maandag voor de klas brengen.

Ik ben niet zo goed in engels,maar kunnen jullie(mensen die goed in engels zijn ;) ) mijn tekst min of meer verbeteren?Als er zinnen of woorden zijn die niet kloppen,zou het fijn zijn dat jullie me het juiste geven :) ;) thanxxxxxxxx :) :) :)

My worst holiday was,when I went to Portugal with my parents and my brothers for the first time.
it was the 10th August when we mayed to took the flight.
We were so hasty,but finally we arrived to late.
We had had the next day another flight and he was so long.
We arrived to the hotel in Porto and there weren't rooms anymore.We went to another hotel hotel,we settled and we went to sleep,because we were very tired.
The next morning we got up and we were to late to go on breakfast.Besides the staff weren't sympathetic.
A few days later,i got a touch of the sun.
The doctor had forbidden it,I was so unhappy after that.
I had to hide away of the sun every day.
I had not so much to do,consequently I had to study Portugese from my mother and i was boring.
Two weeks later,I was allowed to sunbathe,but it was already the end of the summer holidays.

My worst holiday was,when I went to Portugal with my parents and my brothers for the first time. The first time I went to Portugal with my relatives became a total disaster. It was my worst holiday ever.

We had had the next day another flight and he was so long. Het klinkt beter om te zeggen: The next day we had another flight. Verder kan je "he" niet gebruiken.. sowieso vind ik "it was so long" niet goed klinken.


We arrived to the hotel in Porto and there weren't rooms anymore. Misschien kun je beter zeggen: "and they were currently out of rooms.

We went to another hotel hotel (dubbel), we settled and we went to sleep, because we were very tired.
The next morning we got up we woke up and we were to too late to go on breakfast to have breakfast .Besides the staff weren't wasn't sympathetic.
A few days later,i I got a touch of the sun. Dit begrijp ik niet.. bedoel je "be sunstruck?"
The doctor had forbidden it,I was so unhappy after that.Ik denk dat je eerst wilt zeggen dat ondanks de dokter het je verboden had je het toch hebt gedaan, en daarna dat je erg ongelukkig met de situatie was. Maak het wat duidelijker...

I had not so much to do,consequently I had to study Portugese from my mother and i was boring.I didn't had a lot of things to do so my mother decided I'd better start studying Portugese. It wasn't really interesting

ik moest normaal gezien het vliegtuig nemen de 10de augustus.

is "it was so long" goed of wat moet er in de plaats?

"i got a touch of sun"(opgezocht in woordenboek) ik kreeeg een zonnesteek ik kan ook zeggen"sunstroke"

nee,de dokter zei dat ik absoluut niet in de zon mocht zijn dus werd ik ongelukkig omdat mijn zomervakantie daarvan mislukt zou zijn.

wat kan ik dan zeggen i.p.v i had to hide away of the sun???(wat zou je zeggen?)

en voor sunbathe ,het is goed geschreven(opgezocht in woordenboek)

@Barry K: naast het werkwoord to (sun)bathe heb je het zelfstandig naamwoord (sun)bath of het werkwoord to (sun)bath, maar de eerstgenoemde vorm van het werkwoord kan dus ook.

Je zegt dat je het 'voor de klas moet brengen', ik neem aan dat je daarmee voorlezen bedoelt? Zo ja, het stukje over 10 augustus, wanneer je dat uitspreekt zeg je: 'The tenth of August'. Je schrijft dit anders dan dat je het uitspreekt.
