Transport Tycoon Deluxe

Ik heb net weer een oud spel onder het stof vandaan gehaald, nu zit ik alleen met een probleem.
Ik heb het spel geinstaleerd, toen wilde hij niet starten.
Dus ik een patch gezocht, ook gevonden, geopend maar nu wil hij nog niet starten.

De melding die ik steeds kreeg, ook zonder patch, luidde als volgt:
"Het systeem kan COM2, die door de toepassing is aangevraagd, niet openen."

Nu ben ik niet zo thuis in de computer, dus de vraag aan jullie: Kunnen jullie mij helpen?!?!

Je kunt ook de 'opvolger' proberen, Locomotion. Die is in grote lijnen hetzelfde en draait prima op Windows.

Die moet zeker gekocht worden, of is er iemand die hem heeft en even te leen aan wil bieden?

Openttd lijkt veel op transport tycoon en is voor niks te downloaden.

Het is ook zo goed als dezelfde..
transport tycoon is abandonware tegenwoordig, dus dat mag je ook legaal van internet plukken tegenwoordig.

Deze werkt helaas niet bij mij (na installatie).

Locomotion is veel minder goed dan Transport Tycoon Deluxe.

OpenTTD doet het waarschijnlijk wel, goed de readme lezen, je moet bestanden van je eigen TTD cd kopieren enzo.

Handleiding lezen is veelal te moeilijk.

Niet moeilijk, maar het is wel saai als je je TT cd niet meer kunt vinden :x

Het zou wel behoorlijk kut zijn al zou dat het niet zijn.

Wat ik leuk vond aan Locomotion is dat het echt werkte een 2-baans spoorwegnet aan te maken. In TTD legde ik gewoon voor elke trein een stuk spoor, was goedkoper dan al die treinen die de weg kwijt raakten.

Ik heb onderhand een (meteen) werkende versie TTD gevonden.
Maar ben ook nog wel eens van plan Locomotion te gaan proberen.

Ik ben een veel grotere fan van TTD, er waren wat dingen beter in Locomotion maar ook ZO veel dingen veel slechter, OpenTTD is waar het allemaal om draait, lees hier de features:

Lots of effort has been put into giving OpenTTD a better usability. These include:

* convert rail tool (to rail, monorail, and maglev)
* build stations with drag&drop
* support of drag&drop for almost all tools (demolition, road/rail building/removing, scenario editor...)
* sorting of most lists based on various criteria (vehicle, station, town, industries, etc.)
* mouse wheel can be used to scroll in menus and to zoom in/out.
* autoscroll (to left/right) when the mouse is near the edge of the screen
* build in paused mode
* sell whole train by dragging it to the dynamite trashcan
* cost estimation with the 'shift' key
* patch options configuration window, change settings from within the game
* "debtmax" faster loan management with CTRL key

Graphical/interface features:

* screenshots can be in BMP, PNG or PCX format (select in game options menu)
* more currencies (including Euro introduction in 2002)
* extra viewports to view more parts of the gamefield at the same time
* window mode with double zoom (CTRL+D to toggle) (MS Windows only)
* resolution and refresh rate selection for fullscreen mode
* colourful newspaper after a certain date
* colour coded vehicle profits
* game speed increase (through fast forward button or by pressing the TAB key)

Heh, en toen kreeg ik gewoon zin om Locomotion te gaan spelen :D
