It took forever, but finally the Tenement Kids debut MCD ‘Doves’ is here! And we’re glad to say that the result absolutely is amazing!

Doves got 8 fierce and dead serious punk rock songs. Amazing riffs, overwhelming dynamics, energetic sing-alongs and absolute passion, which are exactly the ingredients what a good record needs. Inspired by bands like Fugazi, Hot Water Music, Jawbreaker, Husker Du and the Dead Boys, the Tenement Kids deliver their debut with 26 minutes of heart-wrenching, kicking and screaming, sandpaper-throated punk rock melodies. Meanwhile Freek has left the Tenement Kids to leave to Manchester and complete his study, but Martijn is taking over this duty.
