Ik zag van de week op tv een trailer voor de mini serie Traveler. Vanaf volgende week op tv in nederland maar al op de bekende adressen online verkrijgbaar. Heb net de vijfde aflevering gezien en ik dig het goed.

van imdb:
The series is about two graduate students, Jay Burchell (Matthew Bomerand) and Tyler Fog (Logan Marshall-Green), who on a dare from their long time friend Will Traveler skate around a museum for a prank. After they leave the museum it explodes and the FBI are called in when it appears to be terrorist related. The two friends soon become suspects and it appears that Will set them up to make it look like they did the bombing. Fog and Jay tell the FBI about Traveler but they are told that no one called Will Traveler ever existed. The boys find they have no proof as they never have a clear photo of him as he always hide his face, and he never spoke of his home life. Realising that they only way to prove their innocence is to find Traveler and find out why he's trying to frame them, so they go looking for him and soon find themselves involved in a manhunt by the FBI.

erg leuke en goede serie.
alleen erg jammer van het einde, zeiden overal een gesloten einde nou nee dus (n)

gvd daar kwam ik vannacht dus ook achter om half 5:mad: Ik de hele nacht door kijken omdat ik het verdomde einde wou zien. stopt ie opeens na aflevering 8. enig idee of de overige afleveringen wel gemaakt zijn en in nederland wel uitgezonden gaan worden? in dat geval zal ik voor het eerst in jaren eens iets op tv gaan volgen.

nee zijn geen meer afleveringen van dan die 8 jammer genoeg.

WTF, waarom gaan ze dan in godesnaam die shit hier uitzenden als er geen einde aan zit? :s

dat doen ze wel vaker; gecancelde series opkopen.

Ja maar waarom een gecancelde serie kopen die niet is afgemaakt?:s

Omdat die goedkoper zijn, dan een serie die erg goed en lang loopt :)

en het past mooi in de crime-avond van veronica samen met ncis, numb3rs, criminal minds(y)

Net eerste aflevering gezien op tv, erg gaaf.
Hopelijk komt er meer.

Ik vind het wel een leuke serie...

Wou het misschien ook gaan kijken, maar als het al na 8 afleveringen stopt begin ik er niet eens aan.

Net de laatste aflevering gekeken, vet.

...last night I was watching the first episode of "Traveler" on Dutch television. I never heard about it before, so I checked it out cause I was pretty impressed and wanted to know if the DVD was already out (usually there is cause over here in the Netherlands we're behind a year or so with every show), only to find out they cancelled it?

What's the reason for this? I mean, obiously other countries are buying the show and airing it, that means they think it'll draw viewers (am I saying that right? draw viewers?) to their channels.

Anyway, the show seems worth watching, is it still now they've cancelled it?

ABC can't renew it because it's not a reality show.... and it has quality.

Sorry, there ends the sarcasm.

ABC aired it here in America, and because they "did not like the way it was creatively developed" the station did nothing to advertise it. So few people know about it in America, so how they expected it to do well with ratings is beyond me. But you are right; the show is very popular in other countries, which is why I suggest you join in the "re-air traveler" campaign. It's only for America granted, however, the only way the show can be picked up is if it has an audience in America.
