Het gedicht zit technisch wel oke in elkaar, rijmschema loopt lekker het geheel leest goed. Gebruikte woordenschat vertoont streke woorden
Maar het spreekt me alles behalve aan. Je brengt het op een onaangename manier vind ik... wat dan gebracht wordt is ook niet meteen iets wat me nu meteen aanspreekt. ;) |

Enmity: Haat voor iemand die lange tijd blijft bestaan Huminity: [niet in mijn woordenboek] Callous: zeer wreed en geen rekening houdend met anderen Even de woorden die ik niet snapte opgezocht, waarschijnlijk dat iedereen die woorden kent, maar dit gaat nu alleen even over mij. Moeilijke woorden gebruiken is geen kunst, ik heb alleen het idee dat ze een beetje scheef staan in je zinnen. Zou je een Nederlandse vertaling per regel kunnen toevoegen? Ik heb bij de eerste stroof even alle regels van commentaar voorzien, de andere strofen snap ik ook niet helemaal, maar dan beter en als je toch bezig bent met de eerste :) Zou ik erg leuk vinden. |

'Callous' en 'Calloused' zijn twee dingen, pak je woordenboek ;) (dat ik dat ooit nog tegen jou zou zeggen :)) 'who's all willingly', zou dat niet 'willing' moeten zijn? |

En calloused is een werkwoord en in dit geval is het een eigenschap dus Callous neem ik aan?

'Calloused' zou ik als 'be-eelt' vertalen, 'Callous' als zeer wreed, ik had het net opgezocht. Je vertaalde je eigen zin zó:
You're all callous to bitter ends ge bent ongevoelig tot bit're einden 'Callous' is toch niet ongevoelig? |
