Is dit wiskundig en taalkundig juist?
 

For the TMT-method we get the term cos (y-a) and with the Lagrange-method we get cos (-y+a) . The is not any problem, because the expressions are equal to each other.

Ik vind dat 'we get' persoonlijk niet zo mooi. Maar het is verder wel goed zo te zien.

En je zegt de eerste keer 'for the ..-method' en de tweede keer 'with the ..-method'.

Enneh, "term"? Zeg gewoon "expression" zoals je later in dat stukje doet.

'because the expressions are equal' zijn?

Ik denk van wel. Je kunt ook zeggen "all men are equal", dus dan lijkt me "the expressions are equal" ook goed.

Dan zou ik zeggen 'because both expressions are equal'.
