where big orange flowers grow
and long green grass
between the butterfly and bird
little lizard and lion
a lonely girl is standing
she looks afraid
on her bright side of the moon
all her dreams come true
still something lacks
her adam

eve is all by herself
in the garden of eden
no sons no friends no company

where the serpent silently whispers
and the apples contain hell
she makes a bouquet
of the big orange flowers
but there's nothing
to give it to

in her lovely paradise
where it's supposed to be perfect
the most important thing's missing
love

there is a god to give her orders
to make her lead a life
she doesn't want to lead
and at the dark side of the moon
adam is wandering
he knows what is coming
but he knows he can't resist

where adam and eve made love
where their sons killed each other
where the serpent silently squirms
is what we call paradise

Echt prachtig verteld... Dat laatste stukje is het mooist, maar dat zou geen kracht hebben gehad zonder het voorafgaande gedicht...

Jah, wat anderen ook al constateerden: er wordt gewoon minder gereageerd op gedichtjes. Iedereen wil publiceren en wil leuke reacties horen, maar ze nemen niet de moeite hun commentaar of complimenten over andermans gedichtjes te typen... jammer hoor
