2012
 

A long time ago, the ancient Mayans predicted the Earth would destroy itself in year 2012. The movie takes place in that year, the end of the world.
When John, a divorced man wants to go on a short holiday with his children, the lake where he used to go disappeared. He meets a weird man who keeps on telling the Earth shall die very soon and the government keeps it secret, afraid of riots to get the last tickets of a large ark who could safe some people. At that time, John gets a call of his ex-wife who wants her children back because that day there was a big crack in the Earth crust. After he brought his children home, he went back to the weird man. This man finally made him believe in the end of the Earth and in a large hurry he bought a plane. When he wants to pick up his family the Earth is shaking. Trees and houses are falling and the road is splitting up. He is just in time because everything disappeared in a large crack including the people.
A lot of other disasters happen. New York, London, mountains, desserts everything was destroyed. Everywhere are people dying and families separating. Tsunami’s, Earthquakes, volcanoes the whole world is upside down and creates one big hell. People pray and flee, but they have nowhere to go. The prime minister was supposed to go in one of the three arks. But he decided to stay and to die with his own ship.
