I see you carry the world
upon your shoulders
It mades me think
how indifferent they are
how much you care
your heart of gold
shining for everyone
makes me think
about the hurt
that we cause
about the pain
that we create
and then I think
that gold is heavy
with no warning
pulling you down
how long can you go on
before it breaks you
maybe we should take the time
to look around us
and see all those people
who carry alone
