Engels verslag
 

hallo, hier nog een verslagje in het Engels. Het is niet echt een doorlopend verhaal, maar zou iemand mij kunnen helpen met het verbeteren van de grammatica, spellingsfouten en zinsopbouw? Ik ben jullie alvast heel erg dankbaar. xx(y)

I have seen the movie Mississippi Burning in an English lesson. It is a beautiful movie because you can see the differences between black and white. I will write about two special parts in the movie. These two parts are important for the movie because the FBI agents can find the murderers of the three activists. One activist is a black person and two activists are Jews.

Anderson thinks that he must talk with white people for information. Ward thinks that is not a good idea. Anderson en Ward get a big conflict about that. Anderson hits Ward. Ward runs upstairs and goes to a woman. Now, Anderson and Ward do not work together.

Anderson has a good relationship with the hairdresser. The hairdresser is the wife of the sheriff. He will go to the hairdresser’s house, but he will not alone. A few days later, Anderson tells his idea to Ward. Ward will help him and they go together to the hairdresser’s house. Ward asks many question to the sheriff. The sheriff is the husband of the hairdresser, Francis. Francis is in the kitchen and Anderson is looking for her. He will talk with Francis because he will more information about the sheriff. After the conversation, Anderson walks back to the door and he does see a picture. The sheriff with his group has a remarkable attitude. Everybody have the thumb behind the belt. Anderson tells it to Ward after they are outside. Ward say that it is an attitude of the Klu Klux Klan.

Anderson goes to Francis a day later. He will certainly know that the sheriff is member of the Klu Klux Klan. Francis and Anderson have a heavy conversation, but now Anderson know that the Klu Klux Klan have killed the three activists. Francis is batter that evening because the Klu Klux Klan know that she has talked with de FBI agent, Anderson.

In conclusion, the Klu Klux Klan is finding by Anderson. He thinks that he must talk with white people and he has seen the picture and has talked with Francis. The Klu Klux Klan get ten years of imprisonment.

Opmerkingen:
Ik heb ''people very well'' er in gezet omdat het anders misschien een beetje onduidelijk is want er staat dan alleen maar ''je kan het verschil tussen zwart en wit goed zien'', klinkt allemaal wat vaag :P

Het zijn allemaal korte zinnetjes waar opzich niks mis mee is, je moet het jezelf ook niet te moeilijk maken maar soms mag er best een komma tussen zodat het een wat langere zin wordt. Dan is het wat doorlopender, snap je wat ik bedoel? :)

De veranderingen die ik heb gedaan zijn vaak gewoon toevoegingen, dat betekend niet direct dat je het niet goed hebt gedaan maar het klinkt iets mooier of vloeiender, dus denk niet meteen dat je heel veel fouten maakt want het gaat heel goed! (y)

Ik heb in het midden de zin helemaal veranderd omdat het erg onduidelijk was.

Het hele laatste stukje is heel erg vaag en weet niet precies wat je bedoelt maar ik geprobeert er wat van te maken.

Okay het duurde even voordat ik het definitieve antwoord had maar hier is het:

''Klux Klux Klan'' is een ''collective noun'' (noun = zelfstandig nw.) en ook al lijkt het meervoud te zijn, het is enkelvoud omdat het dus een verzameling is die 1 'unit' vormt - ''the klan'' is dus een groep met heel veel mensen maar, -> één group!

Dat is punt 1, dan komen we bij de regel ''Verb-subject agreement'' en dat houd in dat het werkwoord van hetzelfde getal en persoon moet zijn. ''The klux klux klan'' is hier dus in de derde persoon enkelvoud dus MOET het werkwoord ook in die vorm zijn. Derde person enkelvoud van het WW ''to get'' is ''gets'' dus MET s.

Je zegt toch ook niet: Het voetbalelftal gaan eten.

Opmerking: het moet "leraar Engels" zijn. "Engels leraar" is namelijk een germanisme.
