Engels presentatie hulp.

Hallo iedereen,

Citaat:

Sunday night, 22th may, A tornado passed the city Joblin in the state of Missouri in America.
So far, 116 people has lost their life to the tornado and the death count is still rising since there may be more people stuck underneath collapsed houses.
There are also a few hundred injured people.
Over 2000 homes were destroyed.

The people who live in Joblin didn’t had much time to leave the city or find a good place to shelter, since they were warned only 20 minutes before the tornado arrived.
With this kind of storm, it’s very common to be warned this late.

The storm cut a path of 6 miles long and 0.6 miles wide destroying almost 30% of the city.
A temporary morgue has been set up at the Missouri southern state university and a local concert hall now serves as a shelter for people who have lost their homes.

Last Sunday 46 tornadoes were reported in seven states. The tornado in Joplin was by far the deadliest. A few weeks ago, a serie of hurricanes sowed death and destruction in a large area in the southern United States. Over 350 people were killed by those tornadoes.
Alvast bedankt.
