Ok ik ben wel benieuwd wat anderen nou de mooiste quote uit the fellowship of the ring vinden...

Oh die van Arwen vond ik juist vreselijk.. een enorme afwijking van het boek. Tamelijk brak.

Dat is wel een mooie vind ik; heeft heel sterk dat 'compleet kansloos' gevoel.

Ik vond die hele dialoog tussen Gandalf en Frodo erg mooi. Ik vond Sir Ian waanzinnig goed als Gandalf, die kracht die hij in zijn teksten legt. Frodo was ook erg goed. Voorbeeld:
Frodo: "No one knows it's here. Do they? Do they, Gandalf?"

Ook mooi:
Boromir: "What is this new devilry?"
Gandalf: "A Balrog. A demon of the ancient world. This foe is beyond any of you. Run!"
Vooral de uitspraak van "Balrog", erg Black-Speech IMHO.

Grappig:

Dat stukje dus

IMDB klopt ook niet altijd hoor...zijn nl. daar inzendingen van gewone mensen en die worden niet altijd helemaal gecontroleerd maar ik zou toch echt ff de filmscene kijken want naar mijn idee articuleert galadriel heel duidelijk en zegt ze toch echt 'malice' btw wat in het engels wreedheid/slechtheid betekent... :)

ik heb de dvd nu alweer een aardig aantal keer gekeken, en ik hoor toch duidelijk dat Galadriel 'malice' zegt, hoor :)

Zou goed kunnen kloppen hoor, die inzendingen kloppn i.d.d. vaak gewoon niet, of zijn onvolledig. Ik zal 't zelf nog eens gaan bekijken als ik 'em op VHS heb.

"save you" is uit het boek. Klinkt wat mij betreft ook beter; is een iets ouderwetser woordgebruik dat ik wel bij Aragorn vind passen...

In het boek komt 'ie voor, 'tis nl. de inscriptie op de ring. Zal dan ook vast wel in de film voorkomen, weet het alleen niet meer zeker.

en oja dat hele gedoe met earendil en luthien tinuviel enzo komt zeker pas in de volgende film of hebben ze dat weggelaten (vreest het ergste)

ik heb er geen zin in om te zoeken waar dat vandaan komt, dus, waar komt dat vandaan

Er zitten een hoop mooie dingen in, kzou niet weten welke ik de mooiste vindt, maar dat dialoogje van Merry en Peppin by the Counsel of Elrond is idd wel lachuh

ik vind het leuk als je die film kijkt en dan denkt van: heej, dat zeiden ze ook letterlijk in het boek:)

Ik vind het leuk in het 3de boek als merijn ontwaakt uit die slaap nadat hij gevochten heeft en die adem van die Nazgûl had ingeademt(zoiets was het geloof ik :o ) dat hij dan zegt: I am hungry. What is the time?:D
maar das niet echt een mooie, eerder een grappige:p

Dat verhaal dat in het begint vertelt wordt (ik geloof dat de actrice die Galadriel speelt dat zegt) vind ik mooi omdat ze het zo mooi vertelt.
