Which education?
 

My Name is Markus Gemeinwieser, I’m 19 years old and live in St. Johann in TIrol.
At the moment I’m in an 3 years education in a Hotelschool (3 years).
I will finish this education with a degree in cook, restaurant manager, hotel and catering assistants and in-office clerk.
My question is, if you maybe know which education this in the Netherlands is? MBO Niveau 3 or Niveau 4?
I’m interested to study at the NHTV in Breda, but i dont know if I can apply with my education.

I hope you can help me with this Question.

Hmm that's a difficult question. I think it is a MBO niveau 4 but I'm not sure.

The best thing you can do, is ask your school(NHTV). They will be able to see if you have right education:p

I also think that it is MBO niveau 4.
LIke you said @honestsmile is the best idea to ask at the school!

I don't know the answer on your question, but do you also speak dutch? Because I don't think that there is a dutch MBO in English, but correct me if I'm wrong.

This education what I do at the moment in Austria, is in the Netherlands MBO niveau 3 or 4!
But I need to know which one exactly !

ehhh hoe kunnen jullie zo stellig zeggen dat het MBO4 niveau is? Hij doet een opleiding in Oostenrijk he ;)

Hij doet die opleiding in Oostenrijk, dat klopt. Maar hij vraagt wat voor opleiding het in Nederland is, de hotelschool. En daar gaf ik dus antwoord op. ;)

Hotelschool heb je hier anders ook in HBO? Ik snap ook niet zo goed waarom het direct als MBO wordt beschouwd.

Jij weet toch niks van zijn opleiding? Je weet niet wat hij heeft geleerd en op welk niveau, dus je kunt niet zeggen aan welke Nederlandse opleiding dit gelijk staat.

I was looking on Wikipedia, I was looking on google, but I didnt got the right answer. But I think I will send a mail to the ministerie van Onderwijs. They should know it I hope ;) but thanks to everybody !

i found out now what it is in the netherlands:

middelbare hotelschool with the education for diploma horecamanager

This is what I do right now in my school in Austria. And like I read on the Internet is it Niveau 4 !
