Engelse spreekbeurt nakijken.
 

Hallo iedereen

Zou iemand a.u.b. deze Engelse tekst eens willen nakijken. Het is voor een spreekbeurt over "My Hobby" dus de grammatica, woordkeuze, welluidendheid,... zijn daarom belangrijk. Ik ben niet zo goed in Engels, daarom vraag ik hier om raad

Hier is de tekst:

My hobby is motocross. Motocross is a form of motorcycle sport held on enclosed off road circuits. The bike where you ride with is a dirt bike. I started doing motocross when I was 5 years old. My first dirt bike was a little Honda. The first time I ride that bike wasn't very great because I hit a tree very hard. After that I was a little bit scared but I tried it again and the second time I didn't crash. I had a lot of fun. After a lot of practicing every day I decided to do a race. I finished that race on a fifth place so that wasn't bad for me. My second race I finished on a third place and my third and fourth race I finished on a second place so that was very frustrating. The next race I finally could win and that was a great feeling. I did races for about 5 years and I had some nice victories. My father also likes motocross so he support me for one hundred percent but my mother thinks it's too dangerous so I had to stop. That was hard for me but I understand my mother's decision because it's a very dangerous sport with all the high jumps and the dangerous starts. Now I ride only in my garden with my dirt bike. I have a little track in my garden so it's nice to ride there. I also like watching motocross on TV. I am a big fan of james Stewart because I like his riding style. Maybe I don't do races myself, but my passion for the sport will never die.

Is dat niet alleen bij een formele brief?

In een formele brief mag je inderdaad geen samentrekkingen gebruiken.

In een formele brief mag je inderdaad geen samentrekkingen gebruiken, maar een verslag is ook een formeel gebeuren, dus het lijkt mij beter (en volgens mij vinden leraren dat ook) om daar ook geen samentrekkingen te gebruiken.

Het gaat hier toch om een spreekbeurt en niet om een verslag?
