Question 9: In a five years old study it was concluded that:

1) If a household receives €1000 (so, 1 unit) more annual income, then the annual expenditures on food + housing will on average increase by €600 (so, 0.6 units).
2) If a household receives €1000 more annual income, then the annual expenditures on clothing + recreation will on average increase by €160.

Use regression analysis to investigate whether nowadays:

- the average increase of TOTEXP1 in case of an increase of €1000 of the annual household income differs from €600;
- the average increase of TOTEXP2 in case of an increase of €1000 of the annual household income is more than €160.

Use 95%-confidence intervals to find answers to these research questions. Present your research results in a table containing the two relevant 95%-confidence intervals, the two alternative hypotheses, and the two statistical conclusions.

de regressie analyse heeft een puntenwolk nodig die je hier niet meegegeven hebt. De 0.6 en 0.16 increases dateren van 5 jaar terug, en d vraag aan jou is of dat nu nog geldt. Daar heb je dus data van nu voor nodig, bijv gegeven in ee tabel of puntenwolk. dan moet je een lijntje daar doorheen trekken en kijken of de helling van die lijn verschilt van de 0.6-lijn
