Hallo

Ik snap van Engels niks met de passive.
Kan iemand een goed overzicht sturen waar alles duidelijk opstaat?

Ik heb je topic even verplaatst naar het huiswerkforum, aangezien hij daar eigenlijk hoort.

heb je trouwens al eens achterin je engelse tekstboek gekeken? meestal staan daar wel overzichtjes in. En anders kun je ook je leraar erom vragen, het is zijn/haar werk om het je goed uit te leggen ;)

Beter dan je een overzicht te sturen is je zelf laten nadenken over de vorming van de passive (lijdende vorm).
In het Nederlands wordt voor het vormen van de lijdende vormen het hulpwerkwoord “worden” gebruikt, maar in het Engels is dat het hulpwerkwoord “to be”;

NLs:
Bedrijvend: de rechter veroordeelt de dief
Lijdend: de dief wordt door de rechter veroordeeld

ENs:
Active: the judge convicts the thief
Passive: the thief is convicted by the judge

Als je het vat, zet dan de volgende bedrijvende (active) zinnen om naar lijdende vormen (the passive)

1 the judge convicted the thief

2 the judge has convicted the thief

3 the judge had convicted the thief

4 the judge will convict the thief

5 the judge would convict the thief

6 the judge is convicting the thief

7 the judge was convicting the thief
