I wonder was Jesus born dead?
Or did He weigh too little?
Did His parents ever fight
and did He get stuck in the middle?
And was He teased at school
for being different than the rest?
Was Jesus in a gang?
Did He wear a bulletproof-vest?

But they tell you that He died for your sins
and it's forever day number seven
Yeah, He's always watching
as He waits for you in Heaven

But I wonder was Jesus ever abused
when He was a little kid?
Did they force Him out into the world
to go and make it?
And did He have to work at McDonalds?
Ever wanted to call His boss an asshole?
And was Jesus a junky too?
A third world kid that's sniffing glue?

But they tell you that He died for your sins
and it's forever day number seven
Yeah, He's always watching
as He waits for you in Heaven

Still I wonder if Jesus was suicidal
Was He a homeless nut?
Was He the turkey eaten on christmas-day?
Was He the kid who got shot?
Was He ever put into a concentration-camp?
Had to tell His parents He was gay?
And was Jesus ever raped
and denied the right to have it taken away?

But they tell you that He died for your sins

je weet dat ik een grote fan van je gedichten ben .terwijl ik eigenlijk engelse gedichten haat ,maar die van jou zijn altijd zo mooi
