Save Her (2 gedichten)
Save Her
It’s the most brutal of pain Fists pounding, legs kicking Hands slapping, bodies slamming The blows connecting, pain hammering. What in the world was she thinking to stay Was it good for the children to see her this way Battered and bloodied; Beaten, torn down Why did she always need to play the clown. What was it inside her that took the abuse Wasn’t she worthy of kindness? Instead she would wait for him to come home And beat her until she was mindless. What did she teach the children each day she awoke And staggered herself to the bathroom Each time she looked in the mirror she was broke Was she teaching her babies a life filled with doom. Where was the hope that god gave us all Where were the dreams she had Why would she say that she just had a fall Why did she think she was bad What was it inside that would not go What was it that forced her to stay Once he had hurt her and bruised her so bad Why did she not go away. Please help this woman who can no longer see Who has no idea of kindness Who’s life had been based on unreality Who needs someone to help to clean up this mess She’s weak on her own, he can push her She cannot fight back through her tears All that needs is someone very strong Who will help her overcome her fears. But no-one would go, would help her be strong No-one would help to make him behave They all thought she was strange, that she did not belong They all helped to push her into that grave. **************************************** Untitled Do you see her now She’s just beyond your reach She’s a woman yet a wisp A fairy child just outside your grasp Do you wonder why? Why she always flies away Yet you see her again Tomorrow and the next day? She flies From place to place Always looking for Someone to look beyond her face The bright colors she wears They entice you and they tease Then again she’ll fly away In your dreams you’ll beg her, please… But she’ll zip off again She’ll stay just beyond your reach She will love you well but from afar You’ll beg and you’ll beseech Silver strings Wish for happy things Don’t forget your dreams Embrace the happiness she brings. You don’t look behind the face And you don’t look inside That’s the fear she has the most If ever her beauty fades, so will her pride Don’t give up on her She’ll give you the gift of light Your days will never again be empty And she will make sure that she fulfills your nights. There’s a problem though As is with all the Faye While you get old and eventually fade She will live on… forever and a day. |

thnx ik schrijf de laatste tijd hele lange gedichten weet nie waarom... |
Ou meisje... van mij vast wel een reactie verwacht http://forum.scholieren.com/smile.gif
Die eerste speekt me het meest aan. Lekker Episch. Mooi hoor! |
