the unhappy girl
 

look at that window
and see her gazing at the stars
she’s crying
all day she has been crying
her life is a mess
her body a scar
no, she isn’t happy
she has been an unhappy girl for over a year
she wishes she doesn’t have to sit there
she wants her days to be filled with pleasure
instead of crying, candles, gothic music and incense
she thinks no one cares about her
wants to know what’s after death

but somewhere in another room
is a girl also crying
crying with candles, gothic music and incense
she cares about the other girl
doesn’t want her to find out what’s after death
wants to see her happy
with a real smile on her pretty face
she tries to help the girl
but doesn’t know what to do
she seeks comfort with the unhappy girl
and without knowing the unhappy one makes the other a little happier
every time they talk she feels an undefined feeling
a feeling that makes her smile

still the unhappy girl sits in her room
and still she’s crying
she has a strong pressure to do something
something she actually doesn’t want to do
at the same time the other girl is thinking about her
really hopes she doesn’t do it
doesn’t want to lose the girl
she’s to important to her

both they have the same miserable feeling
a feeling, that the only thing they can do is hope
hope that all bad things will soon end…

ik weet niet zeker of ik misschien de ene 'girl' moet veranderen in 'I/me' en het einde vind ik ook niet echt goed gelukt. het is positief bedoeld maar het komt er nu een beetje negatief uit... http://forum.scholieren.com/frown.gif

Het is meer een verhaaltje, maar dat maakt niet zoveel uit. twee mensen die elkaar proberen te helpen, vind ik een mooi thema in dit gedicht. Nou ja, de ene probeert de ander te helpen. Ik vind het mooi dat het in het engels is, ga door met dichten. Er zit vast wel meer in jou.
