Jos Verstappen rijd misschien vanaf de race van San Marino GP's in de Sauber F1 wagen, hij vervangt daar dan waarschijnlijk Fellipe Massa:

"The hottest rumour in the Albert Park Paddock is that former Arrows driver Jos Verstappen could be racing for Sauber in time for the San Marino Grand Prix.
Verstappen, who lost his Arrows drive just weeks before the start of the season, has already visited the Sauber factory in Switzerland and is being considered for a test-driving role.

However, many are now speculating that Verstappen could instead replace the team's new rookie Felipe Massa after the Brazilian Grand Prix, with the youngster being relegated to tester. Massa could then regain his race seat for the 2003 season alongside Verstappen, should current team-mate Nick Heidfeld move elsewhere.

Rumours suggest that team boss Peter Sauber has been disappointed with Massa's performance in testing and now feels the Brazilian needs more time to mature before being given a full race drive.

There has been no official word from Sauber on the rumours.
