Well I’m sorry I just wanted the bouquet of sharpened pencils
and a comforting hand holding my own.
Silly enough, I thought you were the one,
but reality puts an end to everything,
so this thing we might have had is gone.

Close enough I’ve come to call
deep within I felt the same.
Silly enough, I took the road ahead,
we seemed more together than ever,
but because of me we got further apart instead.

I know this wasn’t easy
it might even have hurt you deeply.
Silly enough, I was being selfish all the time,
through it all I thought you were the one to blame,
if I had realised that before, I know for sure, you’d be mine.

(misschien) Geen hoogstandje, alleen even gebruikt als uitlaatklep, mijn 'situatie' is niet zo fantastisch op het moment.
Maar alle kritiek is uiteraard welkom.

k vin m nie echt lekker lopen, maar snap t idee erachter wel.

Misschien dat je hem nog kan verbeteren in de future?
