Once upon a midnight evening, moon shivering above
As I walked down the streets of this soulless city
Suddenly there came a screaming
As of someone harshly doubted meaning
Of this rapid industry around its core
Doubted meaning over ‘always more’.

Frankly there was no worry inside me
For this madness has always been silenced
To destine the thoughtless to their dying
For fear’s never been an issue in their lying
And it never was difficult to close the door
To hunt for evermore.

Often I had walked this road on my own
But this time trembling came to me rapidly
And as my hands hid themselves in their skin
I was not able to distinguish myself and my sin
As if the walk itself was no more
Than this destiny for nevermore.

The fast closing of my eyes was to be stopped
As a gentle hand carefully followed the lines in my soul
Almost like someone touching the shape of my thought
Though in this dream, little relevance was caught
For no living human being could let my mystery explore
Wandering for evermore.



Ik ben hier al een hele tijd niet meer gekomen, het wordt weer eens tijd. Dit gedicht is nog niet af, ik wil alleen weten of het wat wordt. Ik heb wat inspiratiebronnen, ja... de kenners zullen ze wel eruit halen :) :p
