W8woord en XP
 

Me ouwe zijn de "beheerder" van onze computer.. ze hebben dus ook een eigen wachtwoord op hun account.. ik wil ook een w8woord op MIJN account zetten.. kan iemand mij vertellen hoe dat moet? of misschien moet ik ergens een programma downloaden?? alvast bedankt! (y)

To change your password

Use this procedure to change the password you use when you log on to Windows if your computer is a member of a workgroup, and is not a member of a domain. For information about changing your password if your computer is a member of a domain, click Related Topics.

- Open User Accounts in Control Panel.
- Under or pick an account to change, click your account.
- Click Change my password.
- Type your current password in Type your current password.
- Type your new password in Type a new password and Type the new password again to confirm.
- You can type a word or phrase to use as a memory aid for the new password in Type a word or phrase to use as a password hint.
- Click Change Password.

Notes

To open User Accounts, click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click User Accounts.
Password security depends on creating strong passwords and protecting them. For more information, click Related Topics.

Klik op Start, dan op het icoontje naast je inlognaam bovenaan. Klik op cancel en daar zie je ergens "Create a password" oid. Zorg wel dat je je folders/files private maakt, anders kan iemand toch nog in je privé mappen rondneuzen.
