mijn broer pc heeft windows XP. nu mist hij het bestand iexpIore.exe daardoor kan hij geen mappen openen. Wie weet waar je dat bestand kan halen en waar moet het precies staan??

Probeer eens systeemherstel te draaien.

(ook lekker handig dat je niet aangeeft welk OS hij draait...)

start -> programma`s -> bureau accesoires -> systeemwerkset -> systeemherstel

er staat alleen speciale tekens. Alle ico's waren een keer zonder enige reden. weet je hoe het bestand heet?? dan kijk ik ff in de windows map

iexpIore.exe????

Dit heeft weinig met windows te mkaen volgens mij..
Om mappen te openen gebruik je explorer.exe (dus niet met hoofdletter I).
En Internet Explorer is iexplore.exe (ook met L) maar dat gebruik je niet voor om door je mappen te browsen...

iexpIore.exe kan een trojan/virus zijn. Internet Explorer heet namelijk iexplore.exe. Run maareens een virusscanner dus.

Locate the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE key:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
\Run\Default web browser
and delete the reference to 'iexpIore.exe'.

Locate the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE key:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
\RunServices\Default web browser
and delete the reference to 'iexpIore.exe'.

Locate the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE key:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Active Setup
\Installed Components\Default web browser\StubPath
and delete the reference to 'iexpIore.exe'.

Close the Registry Editor.

Edit the system.ini file, which can be found in the Windows directory, using Notepad. Search for the reference to 'iexpIore.exe' in the 'shell=' line in the [Boot] section of the file. Delete the reference to 'iexpIore.exe'.

heb hem gevonden. Alleen is me engels niet het beste vak. kan iemand hem vertalen. Moet je nou helemaal geen waarde erin zetten??

Alleen het gedeelte dat naar iexpIore.exe wijst

dus in HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
\RunServices\Default web browser de regel leeg maken???
