Een mooie dag (engels)
 

It’s a nice and beautiful day
The sun is shining, the sky is blue
The heath fills the air
The birds are chirping, singing
Their sound fills the air
The first flowers arrive, instantly
Their smell fills the air

It’s a nice and beautiful day
Yet I want to watch TV, but I can’t
The sun reflects on the box

It’s a nice and beautiful day
Yet I want to sleep, but I can’t
The birds make too much noise

It’s a nice and beautiful day
Yet I want to breathe, but I can’t
The flowers trigger my asthma

It’s a nice and beautiful day,
Is it really a nice and beautiful day,
Or is it just an illusion?

Gewoon iets wat ik probeerde in het engels. In het Nederlands ben ik nog slechter, vandaar dicht ik meestal niet in me moedertaal.
De cliché in het begin is vooral om het "mooi" te laten lijken... Mischien is het toch wel zo dat daardoor men ook verwacht dat het juist spottend is bedoeld.

Heeft iemand nog suggesties en/of aanmerkingen, of is het gewoon totaal kansloos? :)
