Full Court Press calls is a quit
 

After 5 years of playing, the game of Full Court Press has come to an end. The decision to throw the towel into the ring was made by the 3 remaining members Koen, Kenny and Jochen, after both Tom and Niels have expressed their will to quit the band to pursue other goals in life.
The 3 of us that are still here have collectively decided to put FCP to rest, because we?re just too tired to once again look for and work in new musicians, since this has happened one too many times now. We?d rather end this chapter in our lives in beauty, and let it rest before we let it slide down to become a joke. Be sure you?ll see some of us in other projects in the future.

There will be 3 more shows to be played before we totally call it quits though. Here is the info for them:
May 11th 2003 at Mezz in Breda (NL) w/ Born From Pain, Second Chance NL + more
May 17th 2003 at JH Mans in Meeuwen (B) w/ Chimaera, Core Of Anger, Solid + more
May 24th 2003 at JC Metro in Helden-Panningen (NL) w/ Born From Pain + more

We hope to see all of you who have supported us in the last 5 years at one of those last shows, and help us have a great time with a lot of fun and many familiar faces so we got something cool to remember for the rest of our lives.

We can start thanking a million people now, but we won?t. Those who have supported us in the 5 years of our existence know who they are and know that we have appreciated their support, down to the very last person. Very special thanks goes out to our label Gangstyle for supporting us through thick and thin, our families and close friends who have supported through all the good and bad times, and a very, very special thanks goes out to all the fans and people we met in the past 5 years who made this worth while.

We can only say one last thing to all of you until we see you again? remember to LIVE LIFE LARGE!!!

die gasten werkten ECHT hard, zoveel shit met de line ups gehad... coole band was het, wie vult dit hardcore-rap gat op in de benelux? :confused:

Klote, ik heb die cd van hun nog 'live life large'. En idd, ze werkten keihard en wouden echt doorbreken....

Jammer, vette hardcore.

wie dit opvult:

tja niet echt hardcore-rap die zo zwaar en lomp is als FCP, maar Born From Pain is wel supervet. En Karbo is erg goed (maar dat is nauwelijks te vergelijken)

BFP - sands of time schijnt echt ERRUG goed te zijn
BFP is sowieso 1 van de europees leidende hc bands...

ik ben nu live life large aant luisteren, tis en blijft echt een vette cd... in breda zondag ben ik er denk ik zeker wel bij...

Ik vond die band zo ongelooflijk kut. Anyways jammer voor die gasten. Mogen ze veel plezier beleven in nieuwe bands( zonder de rap please...niet dat ik t dan dig, maargoed da's een andere kwestie haha).

die reaktie was ook te verwachten...
ookal vond je de band niet vet, ze hebben keihard gewerkt ervoor en steeds tegenslagen in de line up gehad...

Veel mensen hebben het trouwens over dat ze FCP op E-town concrete vinden lijken....ben ik de enige die vind van van niet?

Ik zeg toch jammer voor hun. Ik support alle bands die er hard voor werken en dingen diy doen. Daarom vind ik de band nog niet goed natuurlijk, maar da's een andere kwestie. :)

Ik vind het ook nie super, maar precies ze hebben er hard voor gewerkt

Heel erg jammer...

FCP klinkt veel rauwer en meer hardcore.. ik vind ETC ook wel vet, maar net nu metal hier en daar (vooral dat nieuwer werk, een nummer als second time coming is echt hard)
