is er een soort programma als webmin (voor linux) voor windows?
liefst freeware

Heb nog nooit van zoiets gehoord, denk niet dat het bestaat. Eventueel zou je met behulp van PHP en leuke batch-bestandjes wel zelf iets in elkaar kunnen prutsen (maar bedenk wel dat security in zo'n geval een nogal groot issue is!).

Webmin bestaat wel voor Cygwin.

Daarmee kun je bepaalde *NIX services zoals 'SSH' en 'FTPD' op Windows draaien. Hier zit wel wat overhead in. Dus, mocht je dat willen, dan kan dat.

Misschien is het mogelijk om dit te porten naar native Windows of om dit te gebruiken als basis voor een Windows port voor native programma's. Het hangt er maar net van af welke services je graag remote wilt beheren hetgeen je er niet bij vertelt.

Je kan het wel draaiend krijgen met Cygwin, maar verder zal je er niks aan hebben, aangezien alles wat ie aanroept totaal niet zal werken (want het bestaat neit op windows).

K denk dat je dan beter gewoon mmc wat standaard in windows zit kan gebruiken en naar een andere pc kan connecten :)
