Engels brief

Wie wil mijn engelse brief even controleren? Voorvast bedankt :)

Hi

Thank you for your letter I received last month. I’ve been very busy with school, and I’m sorry I wasn’t able to write back earlier.
But how are you? Have you got any plans for the holiday? Perhaps you could fill me in in your next letter.
I’m going to France this summer. That’s if I pass my finals. I’m planning to rent a tent with some of my friends, and we would like to go to a campsite nearby a lake in France.
I’ve already received a few pamphlets, and I’ll check them out this weekend with my friends. One of my friends bought car and I’m really hoping it won’t break down while we’re underway.
Well, I need tot get on with my homework.
I’ll tell you more about my holiday in my next letter.

Wij moeten brieven altijd beginnen met Dear... maar ik weet niet of dat van onze docente moet of per definitie in het Engels. In ieder geval mag het bij ons niet met 'hi'.

Underway lijkt me een letterlijke vertaling van onderweg.
Moet dat niet on our way zijn?

on your way betekend: verder gaan waar je mee bezig was.
underway is onderweg
