maar komt dat toch vandaan.. is het goed nederlands, of is het gewoon weer een engels woord dat wij ook vaak gebruiken..?

het is een engels leenwoord, maar het is opgenomen in het nederlands. Ik zal even in de van Dale kijken..

Dat heb ik ook wel eens gehoord, dat het van de Amerikaanse president Martin van Buren (oorspronkelijk Nederlands) komt. Hij ondertekende zijn voorstellen met OK, de afkorting van 'Old Kindherhook', wat dus snel werd overgenomen.

Het heeft dus wel een Nederlandse achtergrond... als dit de juiste verklaring is.

Ik heb ook gehoord van dat verhaal met de initialen 'OK'.
Dat het van 'oll correct' komt lijkt me erg sterk.
