Access Control -
Access Manager Bedanet 92 90
The new Bedanet 92 90 Access Manager will allow integration of all Access Control products from the Kaba Group into one solution, and ensure compatibility with future Access Control products.
The Access Manager is able to control up to 16 subterminals and with its large amount of memory it can store records for up to 100,000 people. The 92 90 Access Manager checks the access data delivered from the terminals and then decides whether a door opens or not.
To fulfill control and surveillance functions, such as elevator control, activation of alarm systems, or video surveillance, the Bedanet 92 90 Access Manager possesses a series of digital entries and exits that can be assigned to different functions. Based on modern Web technology, the Access Manager can be operated, maintained, and serviced via the Internet. This feature saves time and money. Equipped with an Ethernet interface, the 92 90 can be directly linked with existing networks.
To protect the Access Manager against unauthorized use or vandalism, the device is always installed in a secured area. The Bedanet 91 05, 91 05, and 91 20 subterminals that are connected to the Bedanet 92 90 are located at access points along the perimeter of the building, or inside the building. The subterminals merely serve as data entry stations. They do not validate the data, but simply pass the recorded information on to the Access Manager. For increased security demands, the Bedanet 91 20 Fingerprint terminal can also be implemented. This terminal uses biometric fingerprint data instead of badge data for identification.
The Bedanet 92 90 Access Manager has a large amount of memory due to its high-performance CPU. It can store more than 50,000 master records. The master record structure is easy to configure and can therefore be adapted to a company’s specific needs. Like the master record contents, the badge definition is also variable. This feature allows the Access Manager to read and evaluate different badges, and can be very useful in situations such as corporate mergers when badges change.
For the implementation of total access control in a company, the Bedanet 92 90 Access Manager can be directly connected to existing networks and computer systems, or it can be integrated into subsystems for Time and Production Data Collection.
