The Red Lobster

The Red Lobster

He is seen as a real delicacy
far from anything ordinary like a daisy
He is kept under keeping alive conditions
With his pinchers all locked up, you think what are his ambitions?

Lost his place in the circle of reproduction
Waiting for his destruction
Waiting to be picked from the menu card
I guess having ambitions as a lobster is hard

But then the moment he is kept alive for arises
He is lifted from his tank
Sent to walk the plank
I guess even a lobsters life can be full of surprises

The boiling water is waiting for him
It doesn't matter if you can swim
He squeels like it is his only hope to be freed from the pain
Meanwhile the butler asks the person that ordered "Would you like some champagne"?

For the poor lobster there is nothing to celebrate
He'll just become something that someone ate
He'll become one of the many that suffered the same fate
He'll have finished his life-cycle as a product on a plate

Als jullie het leuk vinden: There is more where that came from ;)

Hmmmm... erg gedwongen rijm.
