Nothing lasts forever, except the truth. That is horrifying but what can you do about it? However there were times I lost the truth as well.
I can remember a night somewhere in a town far away from here. That night was the most beautiful night ever.
We stood on the top of the world and we were free in all the ways we wished to be. But when you reach the top you have to give up everything.
We climbed that building for a long time, but we made the rooftop and we left our mark.
Unfortunately it stood there for only 9 hours and then it vanished…just like us.

Graffiti is a strange movement, its one of those things you cant explain. Back in those days I did a lot of damage to this system.
I still miss it, but it will stay forever in my heart. While involved in graffiti one will change.
One would walk through a town while searching of the walls for tags/throw ups and pieces. One is always looking for new places to leave his mark and one would risk his life very often. One will always lie to the cops with full conscience, and one will become very paranoid if one is too much involved.

Every tag tells his own story, often this are beautiful stories with a high adventure rate. But some of them end in courtrooms or with death.
I can remember many things of the time I was involved: Benching on the stations hoping to catch a freshly painted car.
Hopping the same line X times a day, destroying every train. Climbing on high rooftops in reckless nights of adventure. Going into tunnels, or walking along the train tracks for hours. Swimming through water and mud while trying to escape from the cops.
And off course hours of peace while smoking and talking about how many things we did and how we were lucky we didn’t get caught.

But that is a thing from the past, like I said nothing lasts forever…
My story had come to an end, but your story is maybe just starting.

en daarom nam ik niet de moeite dit te lezen. sorry

ik heb het niet zo op engelse stukjes. Veel te geforceerd naar mijn idee. Iedereen die als Nederlander beweerd beter te kunnen schrijven/zich beter te kunnen uiten in het Engels stop ik bij voorbaad al in een hokje, terwijl ik dat bij andere mense toch zo min mogelijk probeer te doen...
Sorry, ik heb na de eerste 4 zinnen ook de moeite niet meer genomen verder te lezen.

Hmm ik vond je stukje niet heel geweldig om eerlijk te zijn. Vond je Engels niet echt spetterend en het verhaal lijkt ook nergens heen te gaan.

Wat is zine trouwens? :confused:

Het is graffiti,je weet wel sprayen enzo.
Een zine is net een magazine maar ik maak gewoon een d.i.y zwart wit zine en ga t allemaal kopieren.
Ik heb ook eens wat beter naar de tekst gekeken en ontdekte idd allemaal spelfouten enzo,maar ik had m geschreven en gelijk gepost zonder te checken,sorry. ;)

Duh@mezelf voor die gravity opmerking. Kwam denk ik doordat ik net LUH's verhaal over de ruimte had gelezen en dus nog met zwaartekracht in mn hoofd zat, hahah.

Kmoet zeggen dat het verhaal er nu wel wat leuker op wordt hahah. Ik ook met mn suffe hoofd (n) :D
