Samenvatting engelse tekst
 

Ik moet voor school een engelse tekst samenvatten. Ik kan de tekst hier niet neerzetten (die tekst staat niet online), maar wel de samenvatting. Ik ben niet goed in engels (lees: verschrikkelijk slecht), dus ik hoop dat iemand hier hem na wilt kijken. Inhoudelijk lukt dat dan niet echt (kijken of ik alle belangrijke dingen erin verwerkt heb etc), maar mijn (grammaticale) fouten kunnen er denk ik wel uit gehaald worden. De samenvatting mag eigenlijk maar 160 woorden zijn, maar daar zit ik dus met zo'n 140 woorden boven :o Maar goed, dat is dan maar jammer. Mijn vraag is alleen maar of iemand de samenvatting na wilt kijken en hem misschien in een iets meer lopender verhaal wilt zetten. b.v.d.

Gillian Anderson thinks that Aids is the biggest crisis in the world at the moment. She lives in London because a lot needs to be said there, it is particularly bad compared to other governments. Tony Blair has promised $49m for the global war against Aids. That’s a lot less than he seems prepared to spend on his other wars.

G. Anderson had a bad youth with a lot of drugs and other bad things. As a 24-year-old-near-unknown she landed the role of Agent Scully in ‘The X Files’. Now she is married and got a daughter.

42m people around the world have Aids, half in southern Africa. If the government of South Africa had warned their people earlier, perhaps they wouldn’t now be facing such a crisis. Still, if African governments don’t tell their people to practise safe sex, anything in the West does will be a waste of time. In South Africa are not enough resources to contest Aids.

The problem in the western world is that people think that Aids is a gay white disease, but 50% of people who catch it now are straight men. And an other stupid thing: people are apathetic because concern about Aids is not fashionable at the moment. The only reason why Jasper Gerard is talking about Aids is because of her celebrity. But he was wrong as well: unlike certain sex sirens, she has a fine brain in that attractive body. Se would make a brilliant politician.

Echt niemand? :o (Sorry als ik erg ongeduldig overkom, maar ik wil gewoon graag dat iemand mij een beetje helpt... Mijn gemiddelde voor engels is nou niet echt bepaald hoog, dus ik had gehoopt met deze opdracht mn cijfer een beetje op te hogen, maar zelf lukt het me niet zo goed....)

Ik ben vrij slecht in Engels maar ik heb het wel even voor je doorgelezen. Je tekst loopt goed en ik heb er niet echt rare dingen in kunnen vinden. Op de grammatica heb ik niet gelet.

Right now, 42 million people all over the worlds are suffering from AIDS. As a result of insufficient resources to contest AIDS and a lack of sexual instruction by the African governments 50% of the people suffering from AIDS are living in Southern-Africa.

Here, in the Western-world, the big problem conceirning AIDS is the fact, that people see AIDS as a Gay-disease, but 50% of the infected are straight men.
Another stupidity is the fact, that fighting AIDS isn't fashionable nowadays, this is making people apathetic.

Jasper Gerards was quite wrong about Gillian Anderson. She is unlike some other sex sirens, not stupid. She would make a brilliant politician. ''

Zo,.. zie daar mijn versie. Hopelijk heb je er wat aan.
Ik had even geen zin om te gaan verbeteren, dus heb jouw versie samengevat in mijn eigen zinnen.
Dit zijn 176 woorden, dat is met een maximum van 160 en een uitloop van ten hoogste 10%, in mijn ogen wel een nette hoeveelheid.

Hopelijk heb je hier iets aan, mocht je anders nog vragen hebben, stel ze maar (y) :)

Ik heb inderdaad niet per se jou zinnen aangehouden, dus in die zin niet jouw grammaticale fouten verbeterd.
Mijn tekst is wel redelijk foutenvrij volgens mij... dus nu kan je kijken wat je uit je eigen tekst weg kan laten. :)

Mijn god jongedame die tekst slaat wederom nergens op, ''Aids is a gay white disease'' S.V.P stop met engelse teksen schrijven. Adieu.

Trek je hier vooral niets van aan. Je geeft zelf al aan dat je niet goed in Engels bent, en je hebt het eerst zelf geprobeerd, en je probeert er nu iets van te leren. Goed bezig dus (Y)
