What's life worth...
 

I’m scared for tomorrow,
Knowing it will bring back my sorrow.
I want the night to keep,
And forever be a sleep.
I don’t want to wake up in the morning,
Knowing, it will give me another warning.
Telling me, keep your head straight to the way.
And don’t act like life is just a play.

But I want to stay in that beautiful dream,
And hold on to that wonderful scene.
Please, don’t let me wake up.
With your silly words like: “Stop”
Stop saying: “These worlds suck”
Because then you will be stuck.
Stuck in a world of miserable words,
And keep on crying because it hurts.

Show them a smile of great happiness,
‘Cause then you will be caring less.
Care less about all the sad things on earth,
That’s not what life is worth.
So hold your head up to the sky,
Think about fine things and fly.
Fly to dreams you once knew,
‘Cause the world is worth, thousand times you.

So go to sleep, and wake up after night.
Love your life, and hold on tight.
Keep your head up, and follow the way.
Make life, worth to stay.

Helaas vol spelfouten(n)

Ik moet toegeven dat ik het een vrij slecht gedicht vind, sorry. De rijm is ongelofelijk geforceerd en klopt soms zelsf nog eens niet ook (bijv: morning/warning); waarom zou je rijmen als dat zo gemaakt overkomt? Een gedicht heeft niet persé rijm nodig om mooi te zijn; gooi het er gewoon uit :). Of doe iets origineels met een rijmschema (y).

Verder staat het inderdaad vol fouten, waardoor ik mij afvraag of je niet beter in het Nederlands kunt schrijven? Dat is tenslotte je eerste taal, en waarschijnlijk kun je daarin veel betere gedichten schrijven. Probeer het eens; misschien ligt het je wel :).
