hallo jongens ik moest een tekst maken. in engels dan. ik weet zeker dat ik het niet goed heb gedaan. kunnen jullie het aub verbeteren.

last year i was asked to organise our annuel school trip.
i had severed idea's like walking through the mountain, to climb a mountain or to lay on the beach. i told my class about my idea's and they chose to climb a mountain. i had asked the next morning a travel agency for information and they told me somthing about this sport and gave me a brochure and some folders. next day i gave them to my class friends. we readed them and changed our opinion we through to walk trhough the mountains is a better idea, because it's more easer and saver. the next week we went on our school trip and we had very fun..

Ik denk dat dit wel ok is, ik snap alleen niet wat je met 'walking through the mountain' bedoeld. Door een berg wandelen?

Ik denk dat saver geen woord is. Easier trouwens ook niet denk ik.

het meervoud van idea is volgens mij ideas.
als ik het me goed herinner gebruik je voor een meervoud nooit 's in het engels.

'easier' is zeker goed, 'saver' moet natuurlijk 'safer' zijn.
En 'idea's' idd 'ideas'.

Inderdaad. Dit is een veel voorkomende fout, die zelfs door veel native speakers gemaakt wordt.

Kan je 'much fun' zeggen?

Ik zou niet weten waarom niet, maar mijn kennis van de Engelse taal is natuurlijk niet onfeilbaar.

Volgens mij kan je het idd wel zo zeggen ('we had much fun' dus) maar met 'so' ervoor klinkt het in mijn oren natuurlijker ('we had so much fun'). En ik lees het ook vaak met 'a lot of' ('we had a lot of fun').

Het is organise. Stond in de originele tekst dus goed.
Organize is Amerikaanse.
En Amerikaans is gay.

Ik herinner me een lied uit m'n playlist met de tekst:
"I can't remember having so much fun"
