'In the best German tradition Maroon has created an intense piece of metalcore. The staggering diversity on this album and the palette of influences used truly surprised me. Maroon are not afraid to add Kreator type thrash riffs, Slayer type instrumental parts, old school break-downs, mosh parts (“Watch It All Come Down”), black metal rants and blast beats without being truly original. Hell even some Gothic (electronic) influences crept into the bands almost electic (for as far as this is possible in the wonderful world of metalcore) sound. Speaking of sound. Yes, Endorsed By Hate is another Tue Madsen production. It’s a must do for European metal(core) bands and part of the success formula.

Riff after brutal yet melodic riff (“Chosen Fate”) thunder down Anger Lane on this album, leaving you bruised and gasping for air. Just like Dutch full blast combo Born From Pain, Maroon strategically place all the musical and style elements in the right place and come across as passionate and honest as they can. If you stand for your sound, how deviate this sound may be, you are already a winner. In that perspective Maroon is not hip or riding in the slipstream of the next hype. This sounds more passionate than anything I have heard this year so far.'

Ik ken het niet en heb eigenlijk een poephekel aan metal, maar ik ben ervan overtuigd dat ik het tig keer leuker vind dan maroon5.

ik hoorde gisteren iets over Maroon en Downset in de Willem2. Nog niks over kunnen vinden maar dat is dan wel weer leuk.

vorige keer maroon was wel coole show, maar veel van hetzelfde. natuurlijk lompe breakdowns, maar het werd af en toe wat eentonig, desondanks overtuigend.

al zijn de ultra linkse ideeen van die gasten discutabel net als fanatieke shit in straight edge vegan, vorige keer liepen we bier te zuipen zat hij constant te wijzen, yo tjo gast.
