Heej iedereen..Ik ben een newbie hier als ik iets verkeerds doe neem me dan niet kwalijk..Aliens Act is: Vreemdelingen wet in het Nederlands en ik zoek me als gek een werkstuk over Aliens Act..Echt iets via Google overnemen kan niet want zij zegt al tegen ons dat we dat niet moeten doen want ze merkt het zo..Ze is nogal streng juffrouw..Kan iemand mij hiermee helpen..Ik heb jullie hulp erg hard nodig..Want zelf kom er niet uit..Ik ben wel goed in Engels maar zinnen in Engels maken neeh daar ben niet zo goed in..So Helupz peeps...

1) probeer je vraag een beetje aantrekkelijk te stellen. Dat betekent dus zoveel mogelijk correct Nederlands gebruiken en hier en daar een witregeltje invoegen. Dan heb je wat meer kans op antwoord.

2) wat is je vraag precies? Je wil een werkstuk over iets dat Aliens Act heet. Ten eerste: we willen best helpen, maar we geven geen kant-en-klare werkstukken. Ten tweede: wat moet je precies weten over de Aliens Act? Op Google krijg ik een Ierse Aliens Act uit 1935, een Duitse Ausländergesetz, een Engelse versie uit 1816 en zelfs een Engelstalige site over de Nederlandse versie van de wet.

Heb je de Aliens Act uit een bepaald land nodig?
Wat moet je precies weten?

Naast een woordenboek en een overzicht van de Engelse grammatica is het misschien een idee om ook een overzicht van de Engelse woordenschat erbij te gebruiken. Voor het grammatica-overzicht kan ik je de Prisma Grammatica Engels aanbevelen, en voor de woordenschat kan ik je de Thematische Woordenschat Engels van Intertaal aanbevelen.
Opmerking: met parafraseren wordt het op een duidelijke manier van iets omschrijven bedoeld.

Een vluchteling is iemand die zijn land verlaat omdat hij of zij in zijn eigen land opgepakt kan worden vanwege zijn of haar ras, godsdienst, nationaliteit, politieke overtuiging of de sociale groep waar hij of zij bij hoort.
In 1951 is in de Conventie van Genéve afgesproken dat mensen die moeten vluchten voor oorlog en vervolging recht hebben op bescherming. Het vragen om deze bescherming heet 'asiel' aanvragen en deze vluchtelingen heten dan ook 'asielzoekers'.
Over de hele wereld zijn er volgens Amnesty International 22 miljoen vluchtelingen. 5 % hiervan komt naar Europa. Veel mensen hebben het idee dat Nederland heel veel vluchtelingen opvangt. Eigenlijk vangen we maar 0,5 % van alle vluchtelingen op.
In deze lijst van het UNHCR, een internationale organisatie die zich bezig houdt met vluchtelingen, zie je op welke plaats Nederland staat in het opvangen van vluchtelingen, de 24ste. Er zijn dus 23 landen op de wèreld die meer vluchtelingen opvangen dan Nederland. De IND onderzoekt waarom iemand naar Nederland is gekomen en wat er precies gebeurd is in zijn eigen land. Binnen 6 maanden moet de IND een besluit nemen over de asielaanvraag. Dit lukt niet altijd, soms moeten mensen veel langer wachten voordat zij horen of ze mogen blijven. Of iemand mag blijven hangt af van hoe veilig het is in het land waar hij het laatst geweest is voordat hij naar Nederland kwam. Het is soms moeilijk om te bepalen of een land veilig is. Zo kan het in een land sterk per gebied verschillen of het er veilig is. Ook is een land niet voor iedereen even veilig. En het kan na een lange tijd waarin het rustig was in een land opeens weer onrustig en onveilig worden.
Wanneer besloten wordt dat iemand niet mag blijven kan hij of zij beroep indienen. Mensen die ook na beroep afgewezen worden zijn 'uitgeprocedeerd'. Zij moeten zelf Nederland verlaten en kunnen hier ook hulp bij krijgen. Zo kunnen zij begeleiding, een vliegticket en geld krijgen om in hun eigen land een nieuw bestaan op te bouwen.
Sommige mensen die niet in Nederland mogen blijven maar ook niet weggaan proberen een manier te vinden om hier te kunnen blijven. Zij worden dan 'illegaal'. Via via komen ze vaak aan werk..

Als de Engelse grammatica inderdaad zo'n zwak punt voor je is zou ik je zeker aanraden om de Prisma Grammatica Engels aan te schaffen, en misschien is het een idee om ook de Thematische Woordenschat Engels van Intertaal aan te schaffen. Je hebt dan naast je woordenboek een aantal aanvullende naslagwerken die je als hulp bij het vertalen kunt gebruiken.

Dat denk ik niet. In het Nederlands stond er namelijk een lijdende vorm die met "worden" werd omschreven, maar in plaats van in haar vertaling ook gebruik te maken van een lijdende vorm, wat ik overigens wel deed, heeft ze worden vertaald met become. Bovendien realiseerde ze zich blijkbaar niet dat je bij een vertaling in het Engels een andere zinsvolgorde krijgt dan in het Nederlands.
