[Poort openen]Met virtual server of port forward??

Gister deed ik het met virtual server en daarna viel internet weg en toen moest ik de router opnieuw installeren zijden ze bij sweex en nu doet hij het dus weer.

Dus wil het nu wel goed doen

Volgens mij moet je even wat duidelijker zijn.

Ten eerste, wat draai je nu,
Ten tweede wat draait er op je Virtual Machine( ik ga er van uit dat je met virtual server bedoelt dat je een Virtuele OS geinstalleerd heb m.b.v b.v. Microsoft Virtual PC 2004 ?)

Ten derde, wat bedoel je precies met een port openen?
Wil je dat de FTP port geforward word naar je Virtual Server ?
Zo ja, weet je wat het ip adres is van de Virtual Server?

Hij kan geen goede verbinding maken met de 'server'

het komt er dus opneer dat jij port 41170 moet forwarden naar je eigen computer

Je moet idd in je router bij Portforwarding zijn.

Kan je daar misschien een screenshot van maken?

Je moet eerst ook je eigen ip adres weten, van je computer.
Waarschijnlijk iets van 192.168.1.2 o.i.d.
Ga naar Port forwarding, vul port 41170 in en vervolgens je eigen ip adres ( 192.168.1.2 ) dan apply of Ok of Toepassen

Nu word al het verkeerd binnenkomend op poort 41170 gestuurd naar jou computer ( 192.168.1.2 )

Virtual server is een soort van port forwarding, ik weet het verschil alleen niet. Heeft niks met VM te maken.

Virtual Server

The Virual Server settings allow you to provide public services to the public network, such as a web site, an e-mail server or an FTP server. The Virtual Server lets you redirect server requests from the public network to the computer that hosts the server. Please note that for hosting servers to the public network within your local network, the DHCP server of this router should be turned off and all clients within the LAN need to get a fixed IP address. Dus een Virtual Server instelling is waar je een DMZ kan instellen?
(dmz = voor één interne ipadres gaan alle poorten open)
Nooit geweten, want toen ik vroeger een sweex had, opende ik mijn poorten in de portforwading optie.

Maar voor blubster is er maar één (of een reeks) poort(en) nodig.

Bij mijn router is virtual server gewoon het forwarden van poorten, althans ik moet mijn ip invullen en de interne en externe poort.

Mijn wlan router (Sitecom WL-527) heeft ook die twee dingen. Het enige verschil dat ik kan ontdekken is dat je bij virt. servers een range kunt opgeven en dat je bij port forw. ook kunt mappen. Verder doen ze precies hetzelfde, voor zover ik weet.
