What makes a child kill?

Loss of innocence
So early it was not yet formed
Loss of hope
Never to be given a chance to be reborn
Loss of belief
The world got all messed up
Loss of trust
Those who love you hurt you
You hurt those you love
T'is the cycle of an abused child's life
They either die in fear
Or live in hate
No time for weakness
No time to wait
Daddy shows love with his fist
Mommy's with a stick
My Babysitter
He shows it with fingers in places I didn't know existed
They cause pain and blood
Bruises and shame
All done with a smile
And a grunt of pleasure
At my whimpers of distress
They love me
They all say they do
I can't respond the same way
So this is what I must do
Grab a knife
And cut a hand
The one that loves me so much
Grab a stick
Beat the face of the one who loves me so much
Burn the finger
Which teaches in blood
Of the one who loves me so much
Light a fire in the house
Filled with such love
Watch it all burn
Showing my hate
No love
They loved me
I loved them in the same way........
Alone in the police car
The cops faces white in shock
They look in at the seven year old angel in disguise in disbelief
And ask what it is that could make a child
Kill.....

Zoals vaak, weer mooi omschreven, heel beeldend, loopt goed, leest fijn weg, inhoudelijk wel erg , heeft toch hopelijk niet betrekking op jou?

ja ik weet het me engels is niet al te best maar ik ga er hard aan werken

Zeker erg mooi. Erg zwart wel. Zet wel tot nadenken. Door zo'n gedicht zou ik bijna mijn altijd optimistische kijk op het leven verliezen.
