Engels: schrijfopdracht

Hoi,
We moesten voor Engels schrijven over wat muziek voor ons betekende. Aangezien ik helemaal niet goed in Engelse schrijfopdrachten ben, vroeg ik me af of iemand hier mijn tekst zou willen nalezen? En er fouten uithalen, en eventueel tips geven ivm slecht geformuleerde zinnen.

The usefulness of music
In my opinion, music becomes more and more important. Not only for me, but also for other people. A lot of people listen to music, and they all do it in different ways. I mean that some people still buy music, but many people download it. Of course, it is much cheaper to download music, although it is illegal.

And me? I download a lot of music. I know that’s illegal, but I find the CD’s and singles too expensive, I simply can’t afford it. And I love music, I listen a lot of music. I have an iPod, so I can always take my music with me! I love going to parties or to a pub, and one of the reasons is the music: there’s always loud music, and that’s adorable!
So music is an important part of my life. Music also can influence my emotions: it can have a positive or a negative effect. I think everyone will understand that sad songs can make you sad, and that happy songs can make you happy. That’s logical!
I also have some favourite artists, like Pink, Robbie Williams, Madonna… But I love all genres of music! I like old songs as well as new ones.
Now and then I watch ‘music television’, like TMF or MTV. But I don’t very like it: they play more stupid programmes than good music!
And when I go fitness, I can also listen music in the fitness centre, and that encourages me! It’s a kind of impulse to carry on, and derives you from your tiredness!
Now about the artists themselves. I admire them, because I totally can’t sing and I really wouldn’t dare to sing for a crowd! Once I went to Natalia in the ‘Antwerps Sportpaleis’, and I found it a wonderful concert! And Natalia ‘only’ is a Belgian artist. I’ve also seen the Rolling Stones on TW Classic, and they were great!!

So, like I said already, music is very important to me. Because of that, I would find it terrible if I would be deaf!! And I think that a lot of people share my opinion. And I hope there will come still a lot of good songs!
